HotelIQ's New Mews Integration Kills the Manual Export Nobody Missed Yet

HotelIQ's Decision Cloud now pulls reservation, rate, and channel data automatically from Mews, following the same pattern Cloudbeds and Lighthouse used last month — hotel data plumbing is becoming table stakes before AI analytics can sit on top of it.

HotelIQ announced that its Decision Cloud analytics platform now integrates directly with Mews’ property management system, replacing manual exports with an automated, one-way daily feed of room revenue, rate-code detail, channel and geographic booking origin, lead time, length of stay, and loyalty membership data. Hotels running both systems can now build dashboards tracking RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, pickup, pace, and market-segment mix inside HotelIQ without manual reconciliation. HotelIQ COO Sameer Umar frames it plainly: confident decisions start with having the right data at hand, and the integration removes the manual work that usually stands between a reservation and an insight. The announcement leans on Mews’ scale for credibility — 15,000 customers across 85 countries, named Best PMS three years running, 2024 through 2026.

This is not a new pattern. Cloudbeds and Lighthouse deepened a similar integration in August, automatically flowing reservation, occupancy, rate, and revenue data from Cloudbeds’ PMS directly into Lighthouse Performance and Distribution — eliminating what Cloudbeds’ Sebastien Leitner called “hours wrangling spreadsheets just to understand where next month’s revenue is coming from.” Both integrations solve the identical problem from opposite sides of the PMS relationship: get transaction-level data out of the property system and into an analytics layer automatically, without a human moving files.

Neither of these is a new AI feature — they’re data-plumbing announcements, and that’s the point. Every hotel AI pitch, from dynamic pricing to agentic revenue management, assumes clean, current, automatically-flowing operational data underneath it. HotelIQ and Mews, and separately Cloudbeds and Lighthouse, are two more vendor pairs building that foundation this quarter. For hotels still moving CSVs by hand, the AI layer everyone’s selling isn’t the bottleneck yet — the pipe underneath it is.
