Gemini Just Added OpenTable, GetYourGuide, and Ticketmaster as Booking Connectors

Google's latest Gemini app update wires OpenTable (UK), GetYourGuide, Fever, Localiza, and Ticketmaster directly into the assistant for bookings and reservations — another sign AI assistants are becoming a default booking surface, not just a research one.

Google expanded the roster of third-party apps that connect directly inside the Gemini app, with the entertainment-and-travel category specifically adding Fever, GetYourGuide, Localiza, OpenTable (UK), and Ticketmaster for bookings and reservations — rolling out gradually over several weeks. The stated goal, in Google’s words, is to let users “plan, create, and tackle your to-do list all in one place,” continuing Gemini’s push from answering questions toward taking action inside other apps, on the heels of the app passing one billion monthly users.

This isn’t Google’s first pass at travel-booking integrations. Its Gemini Spark personal-agent product added OpenTable as a connected app back in June, alongside Google Tasks, Canva, Dropbox, Instacart, and Zillow Rentals — plus support for custom Model Context Protocol connections, opening the door to enterprise- and consultant-built integrations. The new Gemini-app rollout extends that same booking-surface ambition to a much larger consumer audience than the Ultra-subscriber-only Spark beta reached.

For hospitality, the notable part isn’t any single connector — it’s the pattern. Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic are all racing to make their assistants the place travel bookings originate, not just where research happens, which puts a new class of AI-agent traffic in front of hotels and restaurants whose systems may not yet be built to receive it cleanly.

Properties relying on integrations, content feeds, or booking-engine APIs that assume a browser-driven human at the other end should treat this as a preview: the traffic showing up at your booking engine six months from now is increasingly going to be an agent acting on a guest’s behalf, initiated from inside a chat assistant rather than a search results page.
