A 646-Unit Miami Tower Lets Guests Skip the Front Desk Entirely — and Runs Behavioral-Analytics Surveillance to Do It

The Elser Hotel & Residences launched a guest app with Innspire for mobile check-in and a digital concierge, paired with AI-enhanced behavioral-analytics surveillance, drones, and panic-button relay radios across the property.

The Elser Hotel & Residences, a 49-story, 646-unit luxury tower in downtown Miami, launched a guest app built with Innspire Digital that lets guests bypass the front desk completely: mobile check-in, a Salto encrypted digital-key system for touchless entry to suites and common areas, in-app housekeeping and bellhop requests, real-time billing, contactless checkout, and “Elsy,” a digital concierge that answers FAQs and surfaces amenity details. A planned “F&B Anywhere” feature will add in-room and pool-deck ordering.

The less-publicized half of the rollout is on the security side: AI-enhanced surveillance with motion detection and behavioral-analytics feeding real-time alerts, GPS-enabled relay radios with panic buttons tied to a central command post, aerial drones for perimeter monitoring during large events, and a PCI-compliant wireless network. Innspire president Anne Frye called it “a seamless, elevated experience that reflects the sophistication guests expect in luxury space”; Elser’s Director of Sales and Marketing Jimmy Blakeslee framed it as pairing “exceptional experience” with “peace of mind” — two claims doing different jobs, one about convenience, one about the surveillance layer most guests interacting with Elsy will never see.

The concierge bet itself isn’t unique to luxury towers. roommaster’s AI voice concierge, deployed across more than 20 ExplorUS national and state park lodges, answers every guest call day or night and books directly into the property-management system — the same “AI handles the front line, staff handle what’s left” logic as Elsy, aimed at a completely different segment: seasonal, staff-constrained park lodging instead of a downtown luxury tower. Between the two, AI-run guest-facing service has stopped being a luxury differentiator and started looking like standard infrastructure across the price spectrum.

What doesn’t have a budget-segment precedent yet is the behavioral-analytics surveillance riding alongside it. As more properties bundle AI concierge with AI-driven monitoring under one “digital transformation” announcement, guests are consenting to both halves without necessarily being told there are two.
